Different..

Different is a short film, written and produced entirely by local young people who wanted to take a stand against hate crime.

The project was created by a consortium of Norfolk-based organisations including; Norfolk Constabulary, Future Projects, Victim Support Norfolk, Notre Dame High School and the Norwich & Norfolk Racial Equality Council. 

C>Media were commissioned to work with the young team to develop the script and film and edit the video.

Hate crime can be anything from name calling at school, bullying and racial abuse to domestic violence and murder. The film depicts a number of scenarios, written and played by the young people, and shows the best way to deal with hate crime when it occurs. The message in the film is clear; hate crime must not be tolerated. 

The film was a huge success and was well received by schools and youth organisations across the country.
